Funny story pre-trip. We went to dinner at some place around 4th west and 13th south. On our way home we saw a rabbit on the side of the road. We stopped the car to show Hazel. Her response - "Let's shoot the rabbit." Strange but true.
Time to tie that story in now.
Since we were on a river rafting trip, we thought it would be cool for Hazel to say "Shoot the rapids". eg:
Mom - "Hazel, what do you want to do?"
Hazel- "Let's shoot the rapids!".
She picked up that saying rather fast. I'm not sure if she was saying rapids or rabbits, since there were rabbits where we camped. Either way, she looks cute eating watermelon.
Hey, Aunt Jenni, wake up. It's 8am.
After sitting for hours in a boat, several rafters struggled to get their land legs back and needed to be carried.
